When checking my sales page for Food Views from around the world I was absolutely delighted to find a 5/5 star Customer Review rating on Amazon.com.au.

The one thing a creator always hopes for (but is never guaranteed) delivered a feeling of reassurance; a validation by a happy customer. Thank you!
A customer review can affect the perception of a potential buyer into assessing whether a product is worth its dollar value or not. If it’s a good review, it must be worth it.
Although it’s commonly accepted, I personally don’t usually ask people for reviews as I perceive this as non-genuine handouts that were not really earned by virtue. For me, a review or rating needs to come from the heart from the consumer after having experienced the product, for it to have a meaningful impact on the creator (as well as the buyer).
If you’re a US reader you may also be interested in another book: A handy guide to buying property in New Zealand. Recent political developments in the US will surely not have escaped your attention. Neither have they mine. I’m aware that many people are currently considering leaving the US for other shores. Maybe you are as well?
America is a beautiful country (I did visit family in the US and then traveled for about a month with my mum back in 1982) and there’s much to like about it. But time passes and things change. Sometimes strong views can change our expectations for the future, especially if children are involved.
Based in New Zealand (and in a previous life), I worked as a real estate sales consultant. It turned out it wasn’t really my scene, but I did end up writing a handy guide that explains common terms for people interested to purchase property in our country. (Yes even if we all speak English, real estate jargon used in New Zealand can have a different definition to the one in your own country.) You can check it out here.

We’re getting much warmer days now here, with our official summer season starting on the 1st of December. And who doesn’t like to recline with a good book in summer by the beach, or in winter by the fire?

Wherever you may be or whatever plans you have, I wish you all the best!
