Flavours from the Middle East 

Having interviewed Ahlam from Palestine recently it reminded me of a year ago when I spoke with Maha from Jordan for the book HOMELANDS THEN & NOW, to tell me about her journey from her birth country to New Zealand. I remember her telling me about the traditional food the family still enjoys here and the beautiful colourful photographs she supplied for the book.

I love my food and enjoy flavours from around the world. It is only natural then that I decided to search for some mouthwatering recipes from Palestine, following Ahlam’s story.
