Our latest digital publication has finally been added to the New Zealand National Library!

Under New Zealand law, all publishers in New Zealand must deposit their publications with the National Library of New Zealand. It is then able to collect, preserve, and make available the documentary heritage of New Zealand, and ensures that a comprehensive collection of published material relating to New Zealand and its people is preserved for the community and future generations. Items deposited through legal deposit are held permanently. All works in these collections will help researchers, scholars and members from the community, understand the New Zealand experience.

Because BiograView, Perspectives from around the globe is a New Zealand publication, this means that all of our issues, print and digital, are part of New Zealand National Library’s rich and large collections.

Our physical copies are held by our general New Zealand and Pacific collection and are available to borrow from your local library via interlibrary loan.

Our digital publications are archived in the National Digital Heritage Archive (NDHA), of New Zealand National Library’s longterm digital preservation system.

As our BiograView magazine is available for sale from our website, access will be restricted to onsite researchers using the Katherine Mansfield Reading Room in the National Library in Wellington. Publications in this room cannot be downloaded, printed, emailed or copied.
